Hi there! Please note: because we were able to get such a wonderful start at Wheatland, we were able to buy our own farm in central Virginia — and we’ve moved there! We’re taken down most of this website but will leave the home page and blog active for a little longer, for reference.
We are no longer selling our vegetables in the DC area, and we’re no longer hiring workers for Eight Acres.
If you’re in central Virginia — or just want to see what we’re up to! — please come visit us at frogbottomfarm.com.
Thank you so very much for all your support!
Welcome! Eight Acres is a small vegetable farm located in Loudoun County, Virginia, an hour northwest of Washington, DC. We specialize in heirloom and home garden varieties of vegetables. We also have a flock of free-range laying hens for eggs. We sell at farmers markets in the Washington area. All of our food is healthy, fresh and delicious! Thanks for stopping by … take a look around and get in touch if you have any questions.
